Wiliam “Bill” Ticker, 81, died Monday, November 25, 2002 at his home in Lynn Haven, Florida.
He was born in Palo Pinto County, Texas. He was a retired United States Navy Commander and a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, with 30 years of active duty service.
Commander Tucker was preceded in death by his wife, Rozella. He is survived by his son, John F. Tucker of Herndon, Virginia, and his daughter, Margaret (Peggy) McCauley of Lynn Haven, Florida; and five grandchildren, Wester Tucker, Jonathan Tucker, Nathan Williams, Pamela Barron and Robin Henne; and four great-grandchildren, Jonathan Williams, Tyler Henne, John (Jack) Barron, and Ashley Barron.
Rev. Tom Berlin of Floris United Methodist Church, Herndon, Virginia, will conduct graveside services Thursday, December 19, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginiz. Donations in his memory should be made to the Lynn Haven Animal Shelter, addressed to the Lynn Haven Police Department c/o Ramona Bibbs, 1412 Pennsylvania Avenue, Lynn Haven, FL 32444.
Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
