THREE HOOSIERS KILLED
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – January 8, 1945 – Six Army men killed last night in the crash of an Army transport near Horn Lake, Mississippi, were identified by Stout Field here as including Major Wilbur T. Jones, whose wife, Mrs. Ruth Jones, lives in Indianapolis; Major William L. Glatfelter, whose wife, Mrs. Irene Glatfelter, came from York, Pennsylvania, to live here, and Captain Vincent J. Rose, whose wife, Adele Rose, came here from Kenosha, Wisconsin.
