Washington Laird Goldsboro was born 30 October 1869 at Old Town, Penobscot, Maine,and died in 1959. He served as Captain, Company C, 43rd Infantry Regiment, United States Volunteers, during the Philippine Insurrection. He is buried in Section 30 of Arlington National Cemetery. His wife, Katharine Egbert Goldsborough (1879-1969) is buried with him. They were married 03 October 1903 at Old Town, Penobscot, Maine.
