Wilmot Alfred Danielson (1884-1966)
Born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 25, 1884.
B.S. from Iowa State College in 1907.
Enlisted service with the Iowa National Guard 1905-1908. Commissioned in the Field Artillery in 1918. Served with the 131st and 133rd Field Artillery in France October 1918-March 1919, then in the Philippines July 1919-July 1922. M.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1926. Quartermaster at Fort Knox July 1937-March 1940.
Constructing Quartermaster at the Panama Canal Zone March 1940-November 1941. Brigadier General in April 1941. Commander of Memphis General Depot 1941-1944. Retired in July 1946. Decorations included the Legion of Merit. Died on March 3, 1966.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
