MANILA, Philippine Islands, September 3, 1946 – Major Thomas Richard McAndrew of Fayetteville, North Carolina, administrative officer at the United States Embassy, died today of a cerebral hemorrhage. His age was 39.
Major McAndrew was the son of Patrick H. McAndrew, Colonel, United States Army, and the nephew of James William McAndrew, Major General, United States Army, both of whom are also buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
