BRONX OFFICER IS AIR CRASH VICTIM
Alexandria, Louisiana – December 23, 1953 – Alexandria Air Force Base officials said today that Airman Second Class Gene C. Forrester, 19, of Griffin, Georgia, injured in a training plane crash, was in good condition at the base hospital.
First Lieutenant Robert S. Tauss, 27, of 1358 Fulton Avenue, The Bronx, New York, was identified as the officer who was killed when the T-6 trainer crashed in a wooded area about nine miles northwest of here yesterday.
