Services Today in Fort Myer Chapel for Retired Officer
WASHNGTON, January 23, 1939 – Funeral services will be held in Fort Myer Chapel tomorrow afternoon for Lieutenant Commander Ralph Frederick Skylstead, 43, USN, retired, who died yesterday at the New York Naval Hospital. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
Commander Skylstead, who was retired last July 1 for disabilities incident to his service, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elsie Lee Skylstead of New York.
