First Lieutenant Good was a member of Headquarters Battery, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division.
On April 24, 1951, he was the pilot of an OY-2 Grasshopper observation aircraft from Marine Observation Squadron 6, 1st Marine Air Wing. While on an artillery spotting mission, his aircraft collided with a F4U-4 Corsair fighter aircraft.
First Lieutenant Good was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Note: Lieutenant Good was the son of Admiral Roscoe Fletcher Good, United States Navy.
