Throughout their lives they tried,
To fight for the way of the cause.
In horrible ways they died,
Yet we could not give pause.
Now that the fight is done,
And those that we cherish are safe,
Our friends are gone…
Did they seal their fate,
So that we may enjoy,
The things they held so dear?
After all this time,
We must try and make amends.
The only way to achieve a piece of mind,
Is to honor our fallen friends…
