Roger Douglas Knudtson was born on June 5, 1944 and joined the Armed Forces while in Fairfield, North Dakota.
He served as an Aviator in the United States Marine Corps. In four years of service, he attained the rank of First Lieutenant. He began a tour of duty in Vietnam on October 29, 1968.
On February 4, 1969, at the age of 24, Roger Douglas Knudtson perished in the service of
our country in South Vietnam, Quang Nam.
He died with, and is buried with, Lawrence Emanuel Houck II.
Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
