Corporal Louis Charles Maid

Corporal Maid was a member of H Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines.
Maid was seriously wounded defending his position against Chinese forces near
Hagaru-ri North Korea and died of those wounds on November 29, 1950. He was
awarded the Purple Heart posthuomously.
He was buried with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery, Section 31, Grave 4243.
