Tecnical Sergeant Youcheff served 24 years in the United States Air Force, including a tour in the Vietnam War. He belonged to the National Emergency Airborne Command Post, which was a part of Air Force One, and flew aboard that aircraft during the administrations of President Ford and President Carter.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
