My Dad, Jack E. Brown, Sergeant First Class, is buried in grave site 3068, Section 67, Arlington National Cemetery.
During his service he was the Boxing Welterweight Champion, Personal Body Guard to the Governor General in Korea, Brigadier General Archer Lerch, and he ended his career on the White House Staff, after serving as Margaret Truman’s body guard and Special guard for VIP’s under President Eisenhower.
He was very proud to have served under General’s MacArthur, Patton and Eisenhower.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
