Former Insurance Broker Lost On Western Front
Chicago Daily Tribune, January 31, 1945 – Major Henry William Dalton, former broker for Standard Insurance Company, has been missing in action on the European front since December 18, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Dalton, 1029 Chestnut Avenue, Wilmette, Illinois, disclosed yesterday.
Major Dalton, with an armored division, recently was mentioned in a news release as instrumental in saving the lives of several of his men in the German counterattack in Luxembourg.
