I’m searching about an United States Army Air Forces pilot of the 669th BS, 416th Bomb Group, 9th Air Force
First Lieutenant George Hubert Steed, Jr,
Hometown Norfolk, Virginia
He was killed in February 8, 1945 and buried in first at Solers (Seine et Marne) , a temporary U.S. cemetery (grave E-2-27).
Near 1948 his family claimed his ashes and they were taken in Arlington National Cemetery.
