My father is buried in Arlington; his name is Francis R Hittinger Jr., Lieutenant Colonel, United States Marine Corps. He served in the Marine Corps for over 20 years, including service at Incon and Chosin in Korea. He was killed-in-action in Vietnam on 9 March 1968. He was killed with 9 other men in a Vier Cong sapper attack near Hoi An,
Republic of Vietnam.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
