Evelyn Johnson Burge, 67, a native Washingtonian who did administrative work for the Government Printing Office from the late 1960s to early 1970s, died May 2, 2007, at her home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She had lung cancer.
Mrs. Burge, a 1959 graduate of Cardoza High School, moved to Harrisburg from Washington in the early 1970s.
She retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry in 1999 as a contract supervisor.
She was a former member of Peace Lutheran Church in Washington.
Her husband of six years, Army Sergeant Frederick Burge, died in 1968 while serving in the Vietnam War. A daughter, Evelyn Bryant, died in 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Evette Taylor and Tanya Williams-Bell, both of Harrisburg; a stepdaughter, Marian Price of Gary, Indiana; and 33 grandchildren.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
