HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas, December 30, 1934 – Captain Charles S. Hendricksen, U.S.A., retired, who was a signal instructor at Kelly Field, Texas, during the World War, died here today. Born in Norway forty-nine years ago, captain Hendricksen came to America at the age of 16. He was transferred from the Minnesota National Guard to the Regular Army in 1927.
A widow and three children survive.
Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
