CAPTAIN C. R. BAKER
Former Executive officer of U.S. Naval Medical School
WASHINGTON, April 24, 1940 – Captain Carroll Royer Baker, Medical Corps, U.S.N. died in the Naval Hospital yesterday, the Navy Department announced today. Captain Baker, who was a member of the hospital staff, was formerly Executive Officer of the Naval Medical School in the City and from 1931 to 1933 was Chief of Medicine in the Fleet Hospital Ship, Relief.
He leaves a widow, Mrs. Florence W. Baker of this city. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery on Friday afternoon.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
