First Lieutenant Charles Jeffrey Schnorf, USMC, killed in the Beirut Bombing of 1983. Lieutenant Schnorf was laid to rest in Section 59, Grave 604, Arlington National Cemetery, with full miliary honors.
Lieutenant Schnorf was the son of Richard Colfax Schnorf, Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army, who is also buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
