My father, a career soldier, is buried at Arlington National Cemetery as is my mother.
He is Billie Raymond Chaney, deceased in August of 1967, killed in Viet Nam while working as a civillian security officer for RMK-BRJ. He had extensive military service and fought in WWII and Korea. My mother was buried there back in 1974 I think it was. Her name is Mary Jacqueline Ebert Chaney.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
