WASHINGTON, August 31, 1947 – The Navy announced tonight that Captain Anthony Rogers Brady, who died of oneumonia six days ago in Adak, Alaska, would be buried here Wednesday in Arlington National Cemetery.
Captain Brady, who was born in Fernandina, Florida, was Commanding officer of the Naval Air Facility at Adak. His familoy lives in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Before being assigned to Adak, he commanded the Jacksonville, Florida, Naval Air Station from May 1945 to last April.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Cora Brady; a daughter, Anthony, and a son, James, all of Ardmore, and his mother, Mrs. Eliza Kelly Brady of Florida.
Burial with full military honors will take place after a service to he held at 10 A.M. Wednesday at the Fort Myer Military Chapel.
