MANILA, 22 December 1913 – Major Amos B. Shattuck, Fifteenth Infantry, died today at Camp Gregg, Bayambang. It is thought that Major Shattuck’s death was indirectly due to a fall from his horse. He was born in New Hampshire. He was graduated from the Military Academy as West Point in 1886.
NOTE: Major Shattuck was the son-in-law of Milton Cogswell, Colonel, United States Army, who is also buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

WASHINGTON – 10 May 1934 – Captain Amos B. Shattuck, who had been on duty in the Office of the Chief of Army Engineers, died at Walter Reed Hospital yesterday.
