INDIANA ARMY OFFICER KILLED BY LIGHTNING
FORT KNOX, Kentucky, September 10, 1955 – Lieutenant Arthur P. Mooney, 32, of Evansville, Indiana, was struck and killed by lightning today. He was standing with three other Fort Knox officers on a rifle range when the bolt struck the group. The other three were hospitalized and released later.
