WASHINGTON, November 26, 1936 – Almerico Zappone, who disbursed more than $2,200,000,000 of Federal funds in twenty-seven years as Chief Disbursing Officer of the Agriculture Department, will be buried tomorrow in Arlington National Cemetery. His age was 74.
Retired since 1932, he died at his home here yesterday after a long illness.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
