Basil Manly Parks, Colonel, United States Army, was born on 2 May 1888 and died on 2 May 1954. He served in both World War I and World War II and was the brother of Floyd L. Parks, General, United States Army. He is buried near his brother and his newphew, Basil Manly Parks II, Colonel, United States Army Army, in Section 30 of Arlington National Cemetery.
