Bohuslav Zdenek Kostka, formerly of Hawaii, a retired U.S. Army colonel, died November 11, 2001. He was also a veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He was born in Wilbur, Nebraska.
He is survived by wife Florence Martin; daughters Margaret A. Meyer and Barbara A. Treadwell; sons John M., Stephen P. and James A.; sisters Emily Lyskin and Blanche Rodgers; and 14 grandchildren. Services on the mainland.
Interment with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
