Josiah Tonet Dalbey (1898-1964)
Born on January 10, 1898 in Eufaula, Alabama.
Enlisted service with Louisiana National Guard 1916-1917.
Commissioned in the Infantry from West Point in 1919. Instructor with the Louisiana National Guard 1921-1924. Duty in the Philippines 1925-1927. Served with the 15th Infantry in Tientsin 1931-1933. Graduated from the Command and General Staff School in 1940.
Duty in the Operations and Training Divisions of the War Department General Staff 1940-1942. Chief of Staff of the Airborne Command, then Commanding General of the Airborne Center, Camp Mackall 1942-1945.
Brigadier General in November 1944. Deputy Commander of the American Sector in Berlin 1945-1946. Retired in July 1952. Decorations included the Bronze Star. Died on May 12, 1964.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
