LIEUTENANT J. W. STEWART BURIED
WASHINGTON, November 23, 1938 – Funeral services were held in Fort Myer Chapel today for Lieuetnant J. W. Stewart, who died on Friday in the crash of an Army bomber near La Grange, Georgia.
Burial took place in Arlinton National Cemetery. Lieutenant Stewart was a native of Elmhurst, Long Island, New York.
Also killed in the crash was Robert Kirkland Black, Second Lieutenant, United States Army. He is buried in the same section in Arlington National Cemetery.
