On Tuesday, May 3, 2005, of Alexandria, Virginia. Beloved husband of 62 years of Ramona Franke. Also survived by two daughters, Linda F. Ward and Janice L. Hill (David); three grandchildren, Brandon T. Ward, Allison B. Ward and Derek Hill; niece and nephews, Heidi Gifford, Fritz Dittmar and Hermann Schmitz-Salue.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1801 Russell Road, Alexandria, Virginia, and on Monday, July 18, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel with interment at Arlington National Cemetery.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2005 of Alexandria, Virginia. Beloved wife of 62 years of the late Carl G. Franke. She is survived by two daughters, Linda F. Ward and Janice L. Hill (David); three grandchildren, Brandon T. Ward, Allison B. Ward and Derek Hill; niece and nephews, Heidi Gifford, Fritz Dittmar and Hermann K. Schmitz-Salue.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1801 Russell Rd., Alexandria, Virginia and on Monday, July 18, 2005, a joint service will be held with her husband at 11 a.m. at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel with interment in Arlington National Cemetery.
