Robert William Crichlow, Jr. (1897-1972)
Born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on October 6, 1897.
Commissioned in the Coast Artillery Corps from West Point in 1919. Graduated from Command and General Staff School in 1937.
President of the Antiaircraft Artillery Board 1942-1943. Brigadier General in June 1943. Commanding General of 57th Antiaircraft Brigade 1943-1944. Deputy Chief of Requirements Section, Army Ground Forces, 1944-1945.
Patient at Walter Reed Army Hospital September 1953 until retirement as Major General in February 1954.
Decorations included two Legions of Merit.
Died on August 30, 1972.
Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
