FUNERAL OF MAJOR T. C. TOTMAN
ARLINGTON, Virginia, December 2, 1947 – Major Theodore C. Totman of Jamestown, New York, one of fourteen persons killed in a plane crash in Iceland in 1943, was reburied this afternoon in Arlington National Cemetery.
The plane crashed against an Iceland mountain on May 3, 1943. Lieutenant General Frank M. Andrews was among the other victims.
NOTE: His wife, outlived him by over 35 years, did not remarry, and was buried beside her Major in 1978.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
