I would like to know if it would be possible to have my father, First Sergeant Thomas J. Gillies, added to your website.
He was inurned in the Columbarium on 6 July 2005.
He was a WWII veteran serving with the 51st Signal Battalion assigned to the 7th Armored Division. He saw action in North Africa, the invasion of Sicily, nd then from southern France into central Europe. He was the first sergeant of A Co., 51st Signal Battalion.
I have included his obituary below along with the list of those persons buried at Arlington that day. I would be happy to supply any further information you may need.
Thank you, Sean Gillies.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history. Many of his articles can be found on renowned portals like the New York Times, Washingtonpost or Wikipedia.
