DeShields, age 4 and born in Washington, D.C.; thier daughter, Jennie DeShields, age 1 and born in Washington, D.C.; a boarder, Margaret E. Foster, age 45 and born in New York; a servant, Katie M. Taylor, age 22 and born in Pennsylvania; and a servant, Julia Williams, age 45 and born in Virginia. His occupation was listed as clerk in a hotel.
