On Monday, January 16, 1939, at Georgetown University Hospital. George D. Barbour, son of the late James L. and Anna E. Barbour (nee Moore) and brother of Mrs. Harold P. Norton, Moore A. Barbour and Mrs. William Manning Irwin.
Funeral from his sister’s residence, 1704 19th Street NW, on Wednesday, January 18, at 9:30AM. Requiem mass at St. Gabriel’s Church at 10AM. Interment (private) Arlington National Cemetery.
NOTE: His brother-in-law, Harold Percival Norton, Rear Admiral, United States Navy, is also buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
