Ebbie Bland – Private, United States Army

Ebbie Bland, the son of Dr. J. & L. M. Bland, served as a Private in Company A of the 8th Ohio Volunteer Infantry in the Spanish-American War.  He died at Siboney, Cuba, 11 August 1898, aged 23 years, 28 days.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
