H. B. PRICE IS DEAD; ARCHITECT WAS 63
Former Resident of New York Victim of Heart Ailment at Washington Home

WASHINGTON, February 21, 1926 – Henry Brooks Price, formerly of New York, an architect and a veteran of the World War, died here today at his home of a heart ailment after along illness.  He was 63 years old. His widow, Sarah Almy Price, was at his bedside.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Mondayand burial will be in theNational Cemetery at Arlington with full military honors.

Born in Baltimore, Mr. Price was educatied at JohnsHopkins University and at the Beaux Arts School in Paris.  Afterwards he made his home in New York where he designed the Numismatic Museum, where the famous Sorolla paintings are exhibited. Five years ago he retired and moved to Washington.

During the World War, Mr. Price served in the Army Sanitary Corps at Camp Humphrey and in the Surgeon General’s Office in charge of hospital planning.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
