CLEARWARTER, Florida – November 17, 1934 – Colonel W. Robert Davis, 62 years old, who established the first leper colony in the Philippines and who was Chief Flight Surgeon of the Army at the time of his retirement in 1927, died today at his home im Dunedin. He is survived by his widow and a brother, James Davis of Bristol, Virginia.
Burial in ArlingtonNational Cemetery will follow services in Washington on Tuesday.
