PFC Ramon S. Subejano

Private First Class Ramon S. Subejano who served with Company A 358th Infantry at Normandy Beach, Ardennes, Nothern France, Holland, and the Rineland, he was a scout sniper and was wounded several times, died September 16, 1988.
He was one of America’s most decorated heros of World War II, having won 17 medals including the Silver Star, buried at Arlington. His story is in the Library of Congress, “One Man Army” 1978.

I visited your tomb last September 17, 2000 as a gift to your birthday.
We love you. His roots and birth place is Philippines and he won a Silver Star, Purple Heart, 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
