Lance Corporal Gerald Erwin Cunningham was part of my husbands unit in Vietnam. While responding to a broken down vehicle on 5 February 1966 in DaNang Vietnam he encountered a land mine which caused his wrecker to flip over and burn. With him was Corporal Grover Webb who was also seriously burned. Cunningham was transfered to Great Lakes Naval Hospital where he died of his wounds on 24 August 1966. He is buried in section 51 plot 1540. Thank you, Elaine Brock, 25 June 2008.
