Present and accounting for until wounded in the hand at Fredericksburg, Va. Dec 13th, 1863. Returned to duty prior to Jan 1st, 1863. Present or accounted for until captured at Bristoe Station, Va. Oct 14th, 1863. Confined at Old Capitol Prison, Washington, DC. Died in hospital at Washington on Dec 20th, 1863 of ‘diarrhoea chronic.’
