Raymond Pearl, Jr. was born on July 3, 1933 and joined the Armed Forces while in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army. In six years of service, he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He began a tour of duty in Vietnam on July 23, 1966. On October 29, 1966, at the age of 33, Raymond Pearl, Jr. perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam.

Sergeant Pearl also served in the Korea War and was a recipient of the Korean Service Medal.
