Walter Albert Buck (1895-1955)
Born on June 4, 1895 in Oskaloosa, Kansas.
B.S. from Kansas State University in 1913 and M.S. in 1916. Commissioned in the Supply Corps in 1917. M.B.A. from Harvard in 1924. Graduated from AIC in 1933, then instructor there until 1936. Executive Officer of Navy Finance and Supply School 1938-1941. Staff Officer with Commander Support Force Atlantic Fleet March 1941-February 1942.
Duty in the Office of Procurement and Material, Navy Department in 1942. Rear Admiral in March 1943. Supply Officer at Philadelphia Navy Yard January 1943-April 1944. Assigned to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Navy 1944-1945. Chief of the Property Disposition Branch, Material Division April-October 1945.
Retired in March 1948. Decorations included two Legions of Merit and the Navy Commendation Medal.
Died on June 12, 1955.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
