I was wondering if you could help me, or know how I can find out about my Uncle who is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
His name is Peter Pryor Parker. He was born on 18 June 1892 and enlisted in the United States Navy in 1911 from Cedar Rapids, Iowa He had served for four years when he was killed on board his ship (USS Montana) while it was docked at Norfolk, Virginia. He was struck in the head by some rigging and suffered a compound fracture of the skull., which which he died. His serial number was 1667095 and he served from 31 July 1911 to 6 January 1914.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army.
