Craig Rawson, born in Lewiston, Maine on June 14, 1946, and passed away January 31, 1998 and is now resting in Arlington Cemetery with his father, Lieutenant Colonel Donald H. Rawson.
Craig attended the International School of Bangkok and Graduated from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia.
He entered the Navy on Sept. 29, 1964 at Hyannis, Massachusetts. During his Navy career, he served at the USN Subase New London, Connecticut, on the USS Constitution (“Old Iron Sides”) and during the Vietnam War onboard the USS Kaskaskia. Craig was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
He is dearly missed by his wife, Betty, son Christopher, daughter Kimberly and two grandchildren, Brandon and Kirsten Rawson.
Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
