Jacob M. Peyton. Residence, Clover, Ilinois. Enlisted on 16 February 1865 as a Captain. On 16 February 18655 he was commissioned into “I” Company, Illinois 148th Infantry. He was mustered out on 5 September 18655 at Nashville, Tennessee. (Could be Jacob Miley b. 1834, son of Joseph Evin Peyton.)
