Just wanted all to know one of the old-timers passed on Sunday evening, 11 March. His name was LEE ALLEN YOUNG, born 23 Oct 1909. His mother was ANNA SIDNEY (ROBB) YOUNG (1888-1931), daughter of John W. ROBB (1846-1899)and Harriet Minerva (WAGGONER)ROBB(1850-1942), of Liberty Township, Centre County.
Lee was my 1st cousin, once removed. I had the pleasure of finally meeting him 2 weeks ago in Ft. Myers, Florida. I video-taped him for almost 5 hours. Before I left he gave me all the research he had done over the years.
He was a brilliant man… and a fine Naval Officer. Lee was not feeling too well that day… and told me it was time for him to be with his wife at Arlington National Cemetery… He missed her so.
