Anthony C. Beardsley died on November 10, 1999. Tony passed on at Georgetown University Medical Center after a long illness. He was the adoring husband of Linda Beardsley for the past 11 years. They shared the raising of Deena (Don) Stokes and grandson, Little Tony. Previous wife Barbara and he raised Laura (Gary) Jarrell and Michelle Beardsley.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Brandon, Christony and Jackson; his brother, William Rickard of Austin, Texas; and his sister, Virginia (Pie) Turner of Alaska.
Funeral services will be held at the Memorial Chapel, Fort Myer, Virginia, on Wednesday, December 1, at 10:45 a.m. Inurnment Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium with full military honors.

Michael Robert Patterson was born in Arlington and is the son of a former officer of the US Army. So it was no wonder that sooner or later his interests drew him to American history and especially to American military history.
